Grace is a young girl who loves stories and proves that she can be anything that she wants to be. Her imagination gives way to a great desire to act out all sorts of stories and some of her classmates don't agree that she should. In the end, she played the Peter Pan in the school plan and she felt she could do whatever she wanted. This story is a wonderful book about self-esteem and cultural acceptance.
Activities Can Include:
-Discussing and creating whoever they want to be and sharing with the group.
-Making a play with characters that anyone can be.
-As a group or individual, make an outfit of their favorite character that Grace pretended to be.
